Apogee Insiders News: July Content, Engagement Tips & Back-to-School Strategy

Hey Insiders!

Just popping in with a few quick things to help you stay on track and make more in the second half of 2025.

1. July content is due by Wednesday (July 30th!)

If you were part of a campaign this month, make sure all content is submitted by EOD Wednesday. We cannot pick you for future opportunities if you have anything outstanding - and that includes ALL of our programs - meaning if you haven’t turned in content for Name Bubbles, I cannot choose you for a campaign with Truvaga. Don’t let a forgotten product review be the reason you are not chosen for a sponsored campaign.

2. Engagement matters more than you think

When we’re choosing creators for campaigns, we look at three things IN THIS ORDER:

Is your content a natural fit for the brand? This means if you are applying for a campaign that promotes children’s products, and I view your Instagram… have you shared children’s products before? Have you even shared that you HAVE children!?! Content needs to fit in naturally, so bringing something completely new out of left field is not beneficial to anyone.

Are you posting consistently and showing up on the platform? If you want us to pay you like a business, we need to see that you are treating your business like a business - meaning you show up consistently. With Instagram (which is where most of our campaigns are run), we need to see that you have consistently published something no less than 2-3 times per week to your feed. If your Easter Basket is still in your first row… You are not showing up often enough LOL

What’s your engagement rate? Here’s where things go sideways: if your engagement is hidden, the platforms show it as zero. That means even if your content is amazing, we can’t see how it performs - and we have to move on to someone else. Today alone, some of the best creators were passed up just because engagement was turned off. If you want to be picked, make sure it’s visible.

We get over 100 applications for every campaign, which generally has 8-15 spots to fill. ENGAGEMENT is what will put you in that 8-15 every time (if your content fits, that is!)

3. Let’s talk strategy: Back-to-school & Q4 prep

If you’ve taken the summer off (no shame!), August 1st is a great time to jump back in. Set a small, focused goal: pick one platform you want to grow, post consistently, and get your audience re-engaged. Gone are the days of trying to be everything everywhere. Pick your favorite platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit - whatever!) and then GO ALL IN.

I promise there are enough campaigns and brands out there to keep you busy IF you have a really engaged audience on one of the platforms. Back-to-school content is already ramping up, and Q4 is right around the corner. The creators who start now are the ones who win big during the holiday season.

We believe in you. Show up, stay steady, and let’s make the second half of 2025 your best yet.
