Summer is here, and with it comes travel plans, pool days, and a little seasonal slowdown in online shopping. June is often a quieter month, but that doesn’t mean you should hit pause. Now is the perfect time to focus on building your audience, testing new content ideas, and setting yourself up for a strong finish to the year. The work you put in during these slower months can lead to major wins once the holiday season kicks in. Keep showing up, keep creating, and know we’re here cheering you on every step of the way.

Gearing Up For A New Month

Here are a few tasks that you can do every single month to maximize your affiliate earnings.

First, log in to your ShareASale, Awin, Impact, Levanta, etc, affiliate accounts.

Check your balances - are you happy with how much you made last month? If not, make a goal to create more converting content this month. (Need help, grab our free ebook!)
Make sure your payment information is correct in the networks so that your payout will arrive on time.
Refresh your connections for tools like Later, Grin, Creator.co, LTK, etc. Brands need to be able to see updated metrics to choose you for campaigns.
Check to make sure you have completed all campaigns, posting bonuses, and product reviews. This is a big one. Don’t let a forgotten campaign be the reason you don’t get chosen for campaigns going forward. Grab our free campaign tracker if you need help staying organized with campaigns. Brainstorm 5-10 new pieces of content for this month related to your niche. What affiliate products can you promote? Apply to new programs as needed.
Look at the month ahead and mark down fun holidays, events, and activities that you can create content and share throughout the month.
Influencers - Update your Social Bios and Links. Make sure links are working. If you have new coupon codes, add those as well.
Influencers - Update or Reuse Affiliate Links. Use seasonal trends, new hooks, or fresh content formats (like Reels or carousels) to reintroduce affiliate products you’ve already shared.
Bloggers/Publishers - Choose 5 old blog posts to update with current SEO strategies. What affiliate products can you include? What can you interlink?
Bloggers/Publishers - Update your Reusable Blocks in Wordpress to reflect new promotions so that your audience is served up the best possible deal. More about this here.

With this checklist completed, you will go into the new month with new pieces of content to be published/updated on your blog, a beginning social media strategy to help build consistency, and newsletter ideas to keep in touch with your existing audience to keep them engaged.
